B&Q
One of my university assignments was to design an advertising campaign with a live client brief supplied to us by retail giants B&Q.
The brief was simple in that they wanted a campaign for their annual new year 2-4-1 on all paint deal.
The concept I put forward for the campaign was for billboards to appear to be completely vandalised with B&Q brand colour orange paint with the 2-4-1 deal written over the top. The premise being you are so happy with the deal you have that you need to tell everyone about it. So you have painted the town ORANGE to get the message out.
I also designed other smaller physical media items that are designed to catch the eye and would be an extension of the main billboards.
